TERMS: By registering to bid on the Weeks Auction Group website or Weeks Auction Group mobile bidding app, you as bidder acknowledge that you have read and understand the terms and conditions for each auction and/or each auction item, and you agree to abide by all terms and conditions for each auction and/or each auction item.

BUYER’S PREMIUM:  A 10% Buyer’s Premium and applicable 7% sales tax will be added to the final bid price to determine the final purchase price:

Bid Price:                                $1,000.00

Plus 10% Buyer’s Premium:  $100.00

Plus 7% Sales Tax:                 $77.00

Total Purchase Price:              $1,177.00

 

PAYMENT:  Payment will be accepted in the form of cash, check or credit card.  Local Georgia Sales Tax will apply to each item. Dealers buying for resale may be exempt from paying sales tax if the dealer has a sales tax number and a signed tax exemption form on file with our office. Upon receipt of payment in full, the purchaser will receive a paid invoice by email which must be presented at time of pick up.

INSPECTION:  Preview / Inspection is strongly recommended prior to bidding in order to gauge the condition, authenticity, accuracy of descriptions of each piece and to gain perspective on the size or number of items in each lot.  Items are available for during the Open House date, Saturday, November 12 from 10:00Am – 3:00PM


CONDITION AND AUTHENTICITY DISCLAIMER:  Weeks Auction Group, Inc. has endeavored to properly describe each lot, however, descriptions are not guaranteed as to accuracy.   Any and all information regarding the condition and authenticity of lots is derived from sources believed to be true and accurate, but is not guaranteed by the Seller or Weeks Auction Group, Inc. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to verify any and all lot information (including condition) in person during the posted inspection times for this auction.

AUCTION CLOSING TIMES AND EXTENDED BIDDING: The lots in this auction will begin closing at 2:00PM EST Friday November 18, 2016.  Closing will occur at the rate of 10 lots per every 5 minutes.  Please note that there is also a 5-minute auto-extend for each individual lot in this auction. For example, if a lot in the auction is scheduled to close at 9:00 PM and someone places a bid at 8:59PM, the system will auto extend bidding by adding 5 minutes to give the previous bidders time to bid again. This will continue until there are no more bids in a 5-minute period related to that lot.

BID RETRACTION: By placing a bid, bidders acknowledge all acceptance of all terms of the auction and agree not to retract bids. If a bidder cannot satisfy the terms of the auction, the bidder should not bid. Once a bid is placed, Weeks Auction Group cannot remove the bid from the online bidding system.
 

INVOICING AND PAYMENT:  At the completion of the auction, successful bidders will be emailed an invoice with detailed payment and pickup instructions.  Your credit card on file will NOT be automatically charged, however when you receive you invoice via email there will be a payment option button contained in the email. To view your invoice and online payments, simply click the link in from the email. Payments will also be accepted in the form of cash or check.  Winning bidders must make payment in full within 48 hours after the close of the auction.  

 

PICK UP OF ITEMS:  Pickup will be Saturday November 19,  9:00 am – 5:00 pm. No pickups will be allowed without a paid invoice.  Purchasers are solely responsible for pick-up and loading of all items. It is the successful bidder's responsibility to remove all items within the above posted times. In the event that a representative of Weeks Auction Group agrees to assist a purchaser in the load out of purchased lots, purchaser understands that neither the seller, Weeks Auction Group, Inc. nor its representatives are in no way responsible for any damage or loss to the purchaser's property of any kind.


SHIPPING:  Shipping is available through The UPS Store, 250 Doc Darbyshire Road #1, Moultrie, Georgia 31788, (229) 873-9706.  Please contact The UPS Store directly for pricing and payment arrangements for the shipping of your items.  Weeks Auction Company is not responsible for shipping cost and as such cannot accept payment for shipping, payment must be made directly to The UPS Store.


CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION:  Online bidders account information and credit card will be verified and validated before your full bidding registration will be completed. The credit card you registered with will have a refundable authorization of $500 placed on the card.  This authorization will drop off your account within a few days if not immediately. Please note that for debit cards this authorization could take up to 7-10 days to be released back to your account. Additionally, we may ask any successful bidder for a copy of his or her driver's license to verify that the bidder is, in fact, the account holder for the card being used to pay the invoice.  Due to the increase in credit card fraud, identity theft etc., these are measures that are being put in to place for the seller, buyer, and auction company's protection. 

AGENCY DISCLOSURE:  In all transactions, the Weeks Auction Group, Inc is acting as agent for the seller, not as agent for the buyer's.  Weeks Auction Group, Inc. reserves the right to remove or cancel the bids and or bidding rights and privileges of any party, deemed not to be in the best interest of the seller, at any time.  At auctions with reserve, the seller and/or auctioneer reserves the right to bid on either the seller’s or the auctioneers behalf. On all other auctions, auctioneer reserves the right to bid on auctioneer’s behalf when permitted by law.
